7:30 am. Wake up.
It’s a gloomy Saturday morning, but the sun peeks its way through the clouds intensely every so often. You have no plans and feel like whatever comes your way will end up being what happens today. You check your phone, your roommate Derrick texted you twelve minutes ago saying, “Yo I’m on the roof trying to see the solar eclipse right now. It’s supposed to happen around 8.” You’re surprised your roommate is awake this early and you get up quickly. You brush your teeth and drink some water, then check the text again. You respond,

“Cool, I’ll come up in a minute.”
“Cool, let me know if u see anything.”
